Remembering the  past with the dream of a better tomorrow. Bhavkunj School kicked off a week long  ” Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”   on 8th August with tiny tots of Preprimary along with students of grade 1 and 2 marching to the beats of Sparkling band with the Indian Flag showcasing the patriotic fervour. Theme of the program was on ‘Being Proactive’ with the message of ‘ Clean Green and Fit India’.A  drawing activity on ‘Patriotism’ was organised for students of Grade 6 to 8 where learners poured vibrant colours and painted their beautiful thoughts.
Students of Grade 9 to 12 painted the compound wall of Bhavkunj with the glorious history of people, culture and achievements.
On 13th August Grade 1 to 5 celebrated the festival of  Independence Day with  National flag painting activity.
On 13th August only students of Grade 9 to 12  dressed in traditional attire participated in  Jashne-a-azaadi March. It was flagged off by The Principal  and The Head Mistress to comemmorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The purpose of this celebration was to let the students relate with our flag and give them a sense of Unity and Belongingness.
Jai Hind!
