Solo Dance Competition

Solo Dance Competition was organised in Sanskar Bhavan on 5th september 2018 for students of Grade 1 to 9. Programme started with great zeal and students performed in colourful costumes. Different kind of dance forms like Classical, Contemporary were showcased. Students were judged class wise and age wise.The efforts put us by all participants were highly complemented by judges.

ARCFESTA

ARCFESTA was organised by Bhavkunj School on Saturday 8th September in KSV Campus.The purpose of fiesta was to let parents take out some time from their busy schedule and make them participate in creative events along with their wards about 200 parents turned up and enthusiastically participated in ‘Rangoli’, ‘Mix Media Craft’ or ‘Art without pencil’ competitions to make this event a success.Chairman of Sarva Vidyalaya Shri Vallabhbhai Patel. was chief guest for this function and participation certificate were distributed and winners were felicitated at the Indoor stadium. It was a wonderdul effort by the Bhavkunj team to bring families together.

Card Making Competition

An Inter house Card Making Competition was organized on 23rd JUNE,2018 for Grade I-III in the Bhavkunj School. The topics for the same were “Happiness”, “Be Thankful, “Spread of Love.” The students participated keenly and made beautiful card by the dint of their creativity.This activity aimed at exploring and encouraging creativity in children and giving them a platform to showcase their skill. It was wonderful to watch the zealous students giving expression to their thoughts. Each of the cards made by the children was a treat to the eyes. This made the selection process extremely difficult for the Judges. They not only showed their creativity but also enjoyed making card.All the students were seen much enthusiastic. The event was a grand success.

Debate Competition

Bhavkunj School organised a Debate competition for the students of grade VI to IX on 30th June, 2018 in MM Patel Memorial hall on the topic “Exams only measure the memory of the students and not their learning”. The participants were well prepared and explained their point of view very well.The judges for the day, Principal Mr Aju Thomas and Mrs Shilpa Bhagat were deeply engrossed in the session. They were very supportive and a motivational source for the participants.The judges adjudged the Trust House as the winning Team. Krishi Patel of Grade 9th was the speaker and Deep Patel was the clerk of the house. Speaking on the occasion the judges praised the participants and the school management. The event was a great success.

RolePlay

On 21st July 2016, Bhavkunj School organised a role play competition for the students of Grade VII to IX.. All the students were eagerly awaiting the competition. It was really a splendid event.Truly, hats off to the participants and their guides [House Masters]. The whole atmosphere was so spell binding and enthralling, that there was not a single occasion that the teachers needed to ask the audience to keep silence. All the actors for the role play put up their best show.There speakers enacting speeches on Different issues starting from funny act to Social message. And there also enactments of certain professionals like Doctor, Lawyer, soldier etc.The judges were also very much impressed with students amazing performance.

Show and Tell Competition

Show and Tell Competition was organised by Bhavkunj School on 21st July 2018 at MM Patel Memorial Hall. It was an Inter-house competition in which students from Grade I to III took part. Students participated in the competition in THREE groups: Grade I, II and III. There was 100% participation of students from each class as the competition had a pyramid structure. The Class-wise Competition Selection was held on 13th July, leading onto the Final Round on 23rd July 2018.The students selected in class-wise round went for the semi-final round. The top four best performances (House wise) were selected to compete in the Final round. In this competition every student came with an object which was described innovatively and creatively. They even managed to include a social message in the descriptions. They spoke about the Natural vegetation, their favourite toys like a Teddy Bear, Aeroplane, Car etc to name a few. Students were very excited and participated whole-heartedly in this competition.Show and Tell Competition helped the students to gain confidence and improve their vocabulary and skills of public speaking. Everybody present in the audience was impressed and appreciated their efforts. It was overall a great experience and a memorable event.

Art Competition

An Art competition was organized by Bhavkunj School on July 21st, 2018.It was an open competition for all the students. This competition helped the students to express their thoughts in the form of colours on the Paper. The interschool art competition for grades 4th, 5th and 6th was held from 9:00am to 11:00am students had a time limit of 3 hours to pin their imaginations on the papers. The artworks of the students of different ages were indeed a visual treat. The students left the venue with the feeling of satisfaction. Each of the drawings were done beautifully and diligently by the children, it was a treat to the eyes. Selecting the students was a tough task for the judge. It was a day where we saw creativity exploding in every piece of art. It was a wonderful opportunity to think out of the box. The competition not only served its sole purpose but also gave the students a platform to display the vivid ideas and they learned more by interacting with others. Our School congratulate the winners heartily.

An Art competition was organized by Bhavkunj School on July 21st, 2018.It was an open competition for all the students. This competition helped the students to express their thoughts in the form of colours on the Paper. Just A Minute

Bhavkunj School organised a Just a minute competition for Grade IV to VI on 30th June, 2018.Students were keen interested for taking part in this competition. In this competition total three topics were given to the students. The first round was selection round which was conducted by the class teachers. From that the house masters listened to the speech of students those who were short listed. One student was selected from each house. In the final round students performed house and class wise. The competition was host by Shreya Patel, student of grade VII and the clerk of the house was Deep Patel, student of class IX. All the students showed their excellent performance. The judges were much impressed by all the performances. At last, the Principal of the school Mr Aju Thomas motivated all the students with his wonderful speech.

Clay Modelling Competition

Clay moulding is one of the ways to develop fine motor skills in children. It not only caters to the needs of pre writing skills but also smoothens wrist and finger muscles preparing them for the formal writing. Children develop creative skills, aesthetic skills, social skills and cognitive skills too. Bhavkunj school organised a clay modelling competition for grade 1 and 2 on 18th August, 2018 during school hours. The main objective of the competition was to enhance the motor skills and to use their imagination and creativity.. The children prepared different models where their inherent talents were out bounded. All the students showed their excellent performance. All the students were seen much enthusiastic. Winners were honoured with the certificates. The event was a grand success.

Numerical Ability Competition

An Inter-house Numerical Ability test was organised for grade IV to VI ON 18TH august, 2018. . The Quiz began with the introduction of the quizmaster and contestants from each house-team. The rules of the inter-house quiz competition were announced. the teams participated with great enthusiasm. They skilfully answered the questions asked. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly. Every round was a mixed bag with questions from Aptitude, Reasoning, Math buddy and Interactive board. The final round, the Rapid-fire round gave the teams a chance to catch up with leaders and put-up a tough fight. A range of emotions were felt in that competition – happiness, sadness, regret and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breath for the announcement of the final scores. The Belief House won the Quiz Competition scoring 25 points followed closely by gratitude House with 23 points. Everyone clapped and cheered for the ecstatic winning teams.

Animated Movie Competition

Animated video is a fantastic medium for sending the message, as there is no better way of communicating specific information, training staff, or telling the world about your Creativity. A video will become authentic, when it doesn’t feel scripted. The way we learned to write in School or college work for writing an animation video script. Therefore, it must be absolutely word perfect “Competition” in every aspect. Every detail, every line of a creative script will come back to the main theme. Your approach exactly should be in a way to present your core message to your audience successfully. One such Inter house Animated movie competition was held on 18th August, 2018 (Saturday) at Bhavkunj School. It was an open competition for all the students. This competition helped the students to express their thoughts in the form of video. They showed their creativity through different animation images and created animated movies with variations. The Principal of MCA College was thrilled to see the performance of the aspiring Talents. All the professors and principal appreciated the aspiring talents of Bhavkunj School. Students showed their excellent performance .Winners were rewarded with certificates.

Teacher's Day

Bhavkunj School, Kadi celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on September 5, 2018. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of classes VIII and IX took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A special programme was held in which the students paid homage to their teachers through poems and speeches. The Principal, Mr AJU THOMAS, addressing the entire school, lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. There was a special celebration for teachers which included distribution of cards made by students. The students played songs for the teachers and rewarded them with a special certificate for their immense contribution in their life the teachers felt like celebrity o that day. The Principal, Mr. Aju Thomas appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. Addressing the teachers on the occasion. It was a memorable day for the school.

Bhasha Sangam Bhavkunj is celebrating Bhasha Sangam.
